The product also comes with the 18Shake Meal Plan book, a guide for losing weight with 18Shake.

The key features as outlined by the brand in their marketing materials is that they are “all-natural”, and “potent”.

Looking at the ingredients list, the “all-natural” claim seems valid, as there are no artificial flavors or colors to be seen.

The potency comes from a mixture of vitamins (there are 18), duo-protein formula (whey isolate and concentrate), and a fiber-based appetite suppressant called Fibersol 2.

The duo-protein formula is made of non-GMO whey isolate and concentrate, which provides muscle-building support, satiety, and boosts the metabolism.

The 18 vitamins and minerals include Vitamins A, C, D, E, K, B6, B12, Thiamin, Niacinamide, Riboflavin, Folate, Selenium, Copper, Magnesium, Zinc, Biotin, and Calcium.

Each serving provides about 30% of the daily recommended dosage for the key vitamins and minerals.

One thing we found a little concerning was the calorie count, (a mere 90).

If you were to replace two meals with 18Shake, you would be consuming 180 calories. Assuming you’re eating three meals a day, you could be risking a calorie deficit which is too low, below 1200 calories which is not recommended.

This is a more realistic calorie count for busy, active people who need more energy to fuel their day, while still controlling their caloric intake.

EvoShake comes in a 420-gram container, with a choice of strawberry, chocolate, or vanilla.

One scoop is added to cold, semi-skimmed milk.

It’s not clear as to whether you can mix the powder with water, but surely it wouldn’t be a problem!

The ingredients list is interesting, to say the least. Sucrose (table sugar, basically) and hydrogenated vegetable oil are in the top 5 ingredients.

This is definitely a “con” because sugar and trans fats are not healthy ingredients.

However, it does contain good ingredients such as green coffee extract1, acai berries2, Vitamin A, Vitamin C3, and Folic Acid4.

Green coffee extract is great for weight loss as it may be able to reduce the absorption of carbohydrates, while the small caffeine content boosts the metabolism.

EvoShake contains whey as the key protein-providing ingredient.

However, it’s not clear what kind of whey is used (isolate or concentrate).

Either way, there are 12.3 grams of protein in each serving, roughly on par with the other products on our list.

Note that EvoShake also contains guarana, which is a strong stimulant containing caffeine.

This could be great for energy levels and helping you to power through your day (and your diet!), but it could be negative for caffeine-sensitive people or light sleepers.

  • 1 scoop of powder is mixed with 200 ml of semi-skimmed milk and is used to replace 1 or two meals a day.
  • 222 calories are ingested per serving, enough to satisfy you, but low enough to maintain a calorie deficit.
